A reputed trading group in Nepal is seeking a competent and experienced Mid-Senior Accountant to join its hardware division in Butwal. This role is ideal for an accounting skilled who can independently manage financial operations, ensure statutory compliance, and provide accurate financial reporting while maintaining solid internal controls. Key Responsibilities
· Maintain accurate books of accounts and financial records.
· Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
· Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
· Handle VAT, TDS, and other tax-related compliance in accordance with Nepalese regulations.
· Prepare and file statutory reports within deadlines.
· Monitor cash flow, expenses, and budget utilization.
· Coordinate with auditors during internal and external audits.
· Verify inventory-related financial transactions and stock reconciliations.
· Ensure proper documentation of financial transactions and supporting records.
· Support management with financial analysis and business reports.
· Supervise and guide junior accounting staff when required. Requirements
· Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master's degree or qualified qualification is an advantage).
· Minimum 4–6 years of accounting experience, preferably in a trading, hardware, FMCG, or distribution company.
· Strong knowledge of Nepal Accounting Standards, taxation, VAT, and financial reporting.
· Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
· Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
· High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
· Ability to work independently and meet reporting deadlines.
