Job Title: Nurse Educator
Location: Mumbai
Job Summary The Nurse Educator is responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing education and training programs to enhance clinical competencies, ensure quality patient care, and support continuous career development of nursing staff.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, organize, and conduct orientation programs for newly joined nursing staff.
Develop and deliver clinical training, workshops, and continuing nursing education (CNE) programs.
Assess training needs and prepare annual training calendars.
Evaluate nursing competencies through skill assessments and practical demonstrations.
Ensure compliance with NABH, infection control, patient safety, and nursing quality standards.
Maintain training records, attendance, competency assessments, and educational documentation.
Mentor and guide nursing staff to improve clinical knowledge and qualified skills.
Conduct mock drills,
emergency response training, and mandatory competency programs.
Coordinate with clinical departments to implement evidence-based nursing practices.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives, audits, and accreditation activities.
Develop educational materials, SOPs, clinical protocols, and nursing guidelines.
Monitor staff performance and recommend development plans.
Required Qualifications
B.Sc. Nursing / M.Sc. Nursing (M.Sc. Nursing preferred).
Valid State Nursing Council Registration.
Experience
5–8 years of clinical nursing experience with at least 2 years as a Nurse Educator, Nursing Tutor, or Clinical Instructor in a NABH-accredited hospital.
