The Product Manager is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies for assigned pharmaceutical brands to achieve business objectives. The role includes brand planning, market analysis, product launches, promotional campaigns, field force training, scientific communication, and coordination with cross-functional teams to maximize brand growth and profitability. Key ResponsibilitiesBrand Strategy & Management
Develop annual brand plans and marketing strategies.
Drive sales growth, market share, and profitability of assigned brands.
Manage the complete product life cycle from launch to maturity.
Prepare monthly business reviews and action plans.
Market Intelligence
Conduct competitor analysis, market research, and prescription trend analysis.
Identify market opportunities and recommend recent product ideas.
Gather customer insights through KOL interactions and field visits.
Marketing & Promotional Activities
Develop Visual Aids, LBLs, Product Cards, Leave Behinds, Digital Campaigns, and Promotional Inputs.
Plan and execute CMEs, webinars, conferences, and doctor engagement activities.
Coordinate with creative agencies for promotional material development.
Sales Force Effectiveness
Conduct product training during induction, cycle meetings, and refresher programs.
Prepare product manuals, FAQs, objection handlers, and sales tools.
Support field force in achieving brand objectives.
Product Launch Management
Plan and execute successful product launches.
Coordinate with Regulatory, Medical Affairs, Supply Chain, and Sales.
Monitor launch performance and corrective actions.
Budget & Performance Monitoring
Prepare marketing budgets and monitor promotional expenses.
Track ROI of marketing campaigns.
Analyze sales performance and recommend growth strategies.
Cross-functional Coordination
Work closely with Sales, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, SCM, Finance, and Production teams.
Ensure timely availability of promotional inputs and product inventory.
