Role Description The Product Trainer is a full-time, in office role based in the Pune Division. This role is responsible for designing and delivering product training programs for internal teams, channel partners, and field representatives to ensure a transparent understanding of LeanLight’s solar solutions and services. Day-to-day tasks include conducting in-person training sessions, creating training materials and presentations, and updating documentation as products evolve.





The Product

Trainer will collaborate with product, sales, and customer success teams to identify training needs, analyze performance gaps, and refine content for different audiences. The role also involves supporting onboarding for new team members, maintaining training records, and collecting feedback to continuously improve learning outcomes.

What You'll Do
Train current joiners (BDRs, ISEs, BDMs, technicians) and run refresher sessions
Create simple training decks — both technical know-how and sales pitch
Visit zones to train teams in person and test their knowledge
Update training material whenever current products or cities are added
Work with the tech team on training tools like the Solar Site Inspector simulator
Help smooth handoffs between roles (e.g., BDR to ISE) so leads don't get lost

What You Need
Background in solar/renewable sales, technical training, or L&D;
Good communication in Hindi/Marathi and English
Ability to build training content from scratch
Willingness to travel across city zones

Good to Have
Experience training field sales teams at a startup
Technical understanding of solar PV systems
