Role & responsibilities
Supervise daily production activities to achieve production targets.
Plan and allocate work to operators and production staff.
Monitor production processes to ensure quality standards are maintained.
Ensure machines, equipment, and manpower are utilised efficiently.
Maintain production reports, shift records, and inventory documentation.
Coordinate with the Quality, Maintenance, and Stores departments for smooth operations.
Identify production issues and implement corrective actions to minimise downtime.
Ensure compliance with safety, health, and company policies.
Train and guide production operators on standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Continuously improve productivity, quality, and cost efficiency using lean manufacturing practices.

Preferred candidate profile




Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Production, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering.
38 years of experience in a manufacturing or production setting.
Solid leadership and team management skills.
Positive knowledge of production planning, quality control, and safety standards.
Ability to troubleshoot production problems and make quick decisions.
Familiarity with ERP systems and MS Office is an advantage.
Excellent communication and coordination skills.
Willingness to work in shifts if required.
Self-motivated, disciplined, and result-oriented with a focus on continuous improvement.
