Role Description The Printed Circuit Board (PCB) Designer will be responsible for designing, laying out, and optimizing PCBs for Skroman’s smart automation and lighting products. Day-to-day tasks include translating product and electrical requirements into schematic designs, creating multilayer PCB layouts, selecting appropriate components, and collaborating with electronics, firmware, and mechanical engineering teams to ensure manufacturability and reliability. The role involves reviewing designs for signal integrity, power distribution, EMI/EMC compliance, and performing design revisions based on test and validation feedback.

This is a full-time, hybrid role based in the Pune Division,



with a mix of on-site collaboration and some work-from-home flexibility.

Qualifications Robust foundation in Circuit Design and Electronics, including experience creating schematics and multilayer PCB layouts.

Knowledge of Analog circuit design principles and practical implementation for power and signal conditioning.

Background in Electrical Engineering, with the ability to interpret technical specifications and safety standards.

Experience with Radio Frequency (RF) design or layout considerations for wireless and communication modules.

Proficiency with PCB design tools (e.g., Altium Designer, KiCad, Eagle, or similar) and relevant CAD workflows.

Understanding of manufacturing processes, DFM/DFT practices, and collaboration with fabrication and assembly partners.

Ability to read and create technical documentation, including BOMs, layout guidelines, and design reports.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related technical field.

Robust problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team in a hybrid setup.
