Job Title: Professor/ Associate or Assistant Professor

Department: Soil Science in Agricultural Science

Key Responsibilities
Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Soil Science.
Develop lesson plans, course materials, and laboratory exercises.
Guide students in research projects, internships, and dissertations.
Conduct research and publish in peer-reviewed journals.
Apply for funded research projects and collaborate with academic and industry partners.
Evaluate student performance through examinations, assignments, and practical assessments.
Participate in curriculum development and accreditation activities.
Organize seminars, workshops, conferences, and extension programs.
Perform academic, examination, and administrative duties assigned by the department.

Qualifications
Doctorate (Ph.D.) in Soil Science and Agricultural chemistry.




Must meet the applicable UGC/ICAR/AICTE eligibility norms, as relevant to the institution.

Experience
Teaching and/or research experience in Soil Science is preferred.
Candidates with quality research publications and funded project experience will be given preference.

Required Skills
Solid knowledge of Soil Science and related agricultural disciplines.
Excellent teaching, communication, and mentoring skills.
Research and scientific writing abilities.
Ability to use up-to-date teaching methods and laboratory equipment.
Positive organizational and interpersonal skills.
