Professor - General Surgery

Key Responsibilities
Oversee all surgical OPD, IPD, and OT activities in the department Perform major and minor surgeries and guide residents in surgical procedures.
Take UG/PG lectures, tutorials, and clinical case discussions Guide PG thesis, research work, and academic activities.
Ensure proper duty roster, patient care, and departmental administration
2. Professor - General MedicineKey Responsibilities:
Manage Medicine OPD, IPD, ICU and emergency servicesConduct clinical rounds, case presentations, and bedside teaching
Deliver UG/PG lectures and guide postgraduate students & thesis
Supervise residents, interns, and departmental academic activities
Handle overall patient care, reporting, and department administration
3. Professor - PaediatricsKey Responsibilities:
Supervise Paediatric OPD, IPD, NICU, PICU and vaccination servicesConduct ward rounds, clinical teaching,



and case discussions for UG/PGPerform procedures and guide residents in patient management
Mentor PG students for thesis, research, and academicsManage duty rosters, departmental work and quality patient care
4. Professor - OphthalmologyKey Responsibilities:
Manage Ophthalmology OPD, IPD, OT and eye screening camps
Perform cataract, refractive and other ophthalmic surgeries
Take UG/PG classes, practicals, and clinical demonstrations
Guide PG thesis, research, and academic programs
Oversee department functioning, duty rosters, and resident training
Common points for all 4:
Must have MCI/NMC recognized PG degree + teaching experience
Should be willing to participate in college exams, NMC inspections & hospital duties

Preferred candidate profile Candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Professor in the Department of Radio-Diagnosis.
