Experience Required: 1 - 6 years in sheet metal or mechanical production environments

Education: B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and skilled qualified for the Sheet Metal Line Production role. The ideal candidate will have a background in mechanical engineering, hands-on experience in production lines, and the ability to understand and interpret engineering drawings.

Key Responsibilities:
Operate and manage sheet metal production line processes.
Interpret and work from detailed engineering drawings and specifications.
Inspect and ensure quality standards on assembly and fabricated parts.
Utilize tools such as AutoCAD and CREO Parametric for referencing and guidance.
Apply knowledge of GD&T; (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) in production settings.




Handle basic troubleshooting and maintenance of machinery.
Maintain documentation related to quality and production efficiency.

Desired Skills:
Proficient in engineering drawing interpretation.
Hands-on experience with AutoCAD, CREO Parametric, and CypCut (Fibre Laser Cutting).
Basic knowledge of Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) operations.
Understanding of GD&T; principles.
Team player with solid problem-solving skills.

Preferred Experience:
Experience as a Production Junior Engineer or Quality Inspector in manufacturing firms like VJS Auto Components or Madras Engineering Industries.
Exposure to assembly line inspections and mechanical components testing.
