Role Overview

We are looking for a responsible, guest-focused, and proactive General Manager who will take complete ownership of the property — from guest experience to daily operations.

You are not just managing — you are creating experiences.

Key ResponsibilitiesGuest Experience
Welcome guests warmly and ensure smooth check-in/check-out
Handle guest queries, complaints, and special requests
Ensure every guest leaves with a memorable experience

Operations Management
Oversee daily property operations
Ensure all rooms and common areas are well-maintained
Coordinate with housekeeping and vendors

Team Handling
Supervise housekeeping staff
Train staff on cleanliness, behavior, and service standards
Maintain discipline and positive work environment

Booking & Communication
Manage bookings from:




Airbnb / OTA platforms
Direct WhatsApp inquiries
Maintain booking records and guest data

Problem Solving
Handle unexpected issues:
Maintenance problems
Guest dissatisfaction
Staff challenges
Take quick decisions without dependency

Experience & Cultural Alignment
Ensure Arka’s Odia theme and storytelling are maintained
Add small touches that enhance guest experience

Requirements
2 years experience in hotel, homestay, or hospitality
Strong communication (Hindi + basic English, Odia is a big plus)
Problem-solving mindset
Comfortable with smartphones & booking platforms
Ability to handle responsibility independently

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹14,000.00 per month
