Key Responsibilities:
Ensure product quality as per BIS 1786 standards (FE 550 / 550D).
Monitor chemical and mechanical properties of TMT bars.
Supervise lab testing (UTM, bend/re-bend, chemical analysis).
Ensure proper calibration of equipment as per defined scope and standards.
Facilitate audits by customers and government authorities.
Handle customer complaints and conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and CAPA.
Ensure process control at LRF, CCM, and rolling mill stages.
Maintain quality documentation and ensure audit compliance.
Coordinate with production for continuous quality improvement.
Possess working knowledge of Six Sigma, 7 QC tools, and Why-Why analysis.

Requirements:
B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical or Metallurgical Engineering.
4 to 6 years of experience in TMT/steel industry.
Solid knowledge of BIS/ASTM standards and testing procedures.
Experience in handling audits and customer inspections.
Proficiency in SAP/ZOHO ERP systems.
