Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented QA Executive with 24 years of experience to join our Quality Assurance team. The ideal candidate should have a solid foundation in manual testing, functional testing, and API testing, along with knowledge of automation scripting. Since our application involves complex business workflows, the candidate should possess strong analytical skills and the ability to understand business requirements to ensure comprehensive test coverage.

This role requires an individual who can contribute equally to manual testing and automation activities (50% manual, 50% automation).

Key Responsibilities:
Analyse business and functional requirements to prepare effective test scenarios and test cases.
Perform functional, integration, regression, sanity, and user acceptance testing of web applications.
Execute and validate API testing.
Identify, report, track, and verify software defects throughout the defect lifecycle.
Develop and maintain automation scripts to support regression and repetitive testing.
Collaborate with developers, product managers,



and business analysts to ensure high-quality software delivery.
Participate in requirement reviews, sprint planning, test planning, and release validation.
Maintain test documentation and ensure adherence to QA best practices.

Required Skills:
3–5 years of experience in software testing.
Robust understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Defect Life Cycle.
Hands-on experience in functional testing and API testing.
Hands-on experience in automation testing using Selenium with Java or similar automation frameworks
Ability to understand and test complex business workflows.
Experience in writing effective test cases, test plans, and defect reports.
Basic knowledge of SQL/database validation.
Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
Eagerness to learn current technologies and continuously improve testing practices.
