Production Planning
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on sales forecasts and customer requirements.
Schedule manufacturing batches considering machine capacity, manpower, and material availability.
Monitor production plan vs. actual production and initiate corrective actions for deviations.
Ensure timely execution of production schedules.

Material Planning
Plan and monitor Raw Materials (RM), Packaging Materials (PM), and consumables.
Generate Material Requirement Planning (MRP) and purchase requisitions.
Coordinate with the Purchase department for timely procurement.
Follow up with vendors for on-time delivery of materials.

Inventory Control
Maintain optimum inventory levels of RM, PM, WIP, and Finished Goods.
Monitor slow-moving, non-moving, and expired inventory.
Conduct stock reconciliation and physical inventory verification.
Ensure FIFO/FEFO practices are followed.

Cross-Functional Coordination
Coordinate with Production, QA, QC, Warehouse, Engineering, Purchase, and Dispatch teams.




Ensure material availability for uninterrupted manufacturing.
Track order status and support timely customer deliveries.
Resolve production planning and material-related issues.

Documentation & Compliance
Maintain PPIC records, reports, and planning documents.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports.
Ensure compliance with cGMP, WHO-GMP, Schedule M, and applicable regulatory guidelines.
Support internal, customer, and regulatory audits by providing PPIC documentation.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm), Science (B.Sc.), Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field.
MBA in Operations/Supply Chain is an added advantage.

Experience
Executive: 25 years of experience in PPIC within a pharmaceutical manufacturing company.
Experience in Formulation (OSD, Injectable, Liquid, Topical) or API manufacturing is preferred.
