We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Executive to manage the sourcing, purchasing, and vendor coordination activities of the organization. The ideal candidate will ensure timely procurement of goods and services at the best possible cost while maintaining quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers/vendors for materials, goods, and services
Prepare and process purchase orders and requisitions in line with company policies
Track orders and ensure timely delivery; follow up with vendors on pending shipments
Maintain accurate procurement records, price lists, and vendor databases
Compare quotations from different suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness
Coordinate with internal departments (stores, finance, operations) to understand procurement needs
Monitor stock levels and raise purchase requests proactively to avoid shortages
Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures
Resolve discrepancies in invoices, deliveries, or quality issues with vendors
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential suppliers
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Commerce, or related field
1–2 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain roles
Positive negotiation and vendor management skills
Proficiency in MS Excel and basic knowledge of procurement/ERP software
Robust communication and organizational skills
Ability to multitask and work under deadlines
Attention to detail and analytical mindset
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with local Cochin/Kerala-based vendors and suppliers
Knowledge of GST and basic taxation related to purchases
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
