Job Title: PGT English Teacher (CBSE) – Grades 8 to 12

Job Summary:

We are looking for a passionate and experienced PGT English Teacher to teach students from Grades 8 to 12 (CBSE curriculum). The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, robust subject knowledge, and the ability to inspire students to develop their language, literature, and critical thinking skills.

Key Responsibilities:
Teach English Language and Literature to students from Grades 8 to 12 following the CBSE curriculum.
Prepare engaging lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and assessments.
Foster reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills among students.
Conduct regular assessments, evaluate student performance, and provide constructive feedback.
Prepare students for CBSE Board Examinations through effective revision and exam-oriented guidance.
Maintain accurate academic records, attendance, and progress reports.
Create a positive and inclusive classroom workplace that encourages active learning.
Integrate technology and innovative teaching methods into classroom instruction.
Participate in parent-teacher meetings, school events, and professional development programs.




Collaborate with coordinators and fellow teachers to enhance curriculum delivery.
Uphold school policies and contribute to the overall academic excellence of the institution.

Qualifications:
Master's Degree (M.A. in English) from a recognized university.
Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) – Mandatory.
3–5 years of teaching experience in a CBSE school, preferably teaching Grades 8 to 12.
Excellent command of spoken and written English.
Strong classroom management and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in using digital teaching tools and smart classroom technology.

Thorough knowledge of the CBSE curriculum and assessment patterns.
Ability to motivate and mentor students.
Excellent organizational, communication, and presentation skills.

Experience: 3–5 years (CBSE School preferred) Education: M.A. (English) with B.Ed. (Compulsory)
