Step Up School is seeking a qualified and passionate PGT Computer Science Teacher to teach students of Grades XI & XII. The ideal candidate should possess solid subject expertise, excellent classroom management skills, and the ability to prepare students for CBSE board examinations through engaging and technology-driven instruction.
Key Responsibilities
Teach Computer Science to senior secondary students in accordance with the CBSE curriculum.
Deliver interactive and engaging classroom sessions.
Teach programming languages such as Python and SQL, along with Database Management Systems, Computer Networks, Data Structures, and related topics.
Conduct practical laboratory sessions and ensure effective lab management.
Prepare lesson plans, assignments, projects, tests, and examinations.
Assess student performance and provide regular feedback.
Maintain academic records and classroom discipline.
Integrate digital tools and innovative teaching methodologies into classroom instruction.
Participate in school events, parent-teacher meetings, faculty meetings, and professional development programs.
Qualifications
M.Sc. (Computer Science/IT), MCA, M.Tech (Computer Science/IT), or an equivalent qualification from a recognized university.
B.Ed. from a recognized institution.
Relevant teaching experience in a CBSE school will be preferred.
