Role & responsibilities
I'm looking for a reliable, detail-oriented recruiting coordinator to support my hiring process on an ongoing, part-time basis. This is a small but consistent workload each week outstanding for someone who wants steady, recurring work.
What you'll do:
Screen incoming resumes against a checklist I provide (skills, experience, certifications, location/availability) and shortlist qualified candidates
Reach out to shortlisted candidates by email or phone to confirm interest, availability, and basic logistics (location, rate expectations, notice period)
Schedule interviews using a shared calendar tool (Calendly/Google Calendar) and send confirmation/reminder emails
Keep a easy tracker (Google Sheet or Airtable) updated with candidate status: screened, contacted, scheduled, rejected, etc.
Send polite, professional rejection or follow-up emails using templates I provide
Occasionally join calls to help coordinate or take notes
What I'll provide:
Clear screening criteria and a scoring template for each role
Email/message templates for outreach and rejections
Access to a shared calendar and simple tracking sheet
Regular (brief)
check-ins to review priorities
Requirements
Fluent written and spoken English
Strong attention to detail comfortable following a structured checklist consistently
Comfortable making outbound calls to candidates
Basic comfort with Google Sheets/Docs, email, and calendar scheduling tools
Prior experience in recruiting, HR support, or administrative/virtual assistant work is a plus, but not required if you're organized and a quick learner
Reliable internet connection and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Hours & Schedule Yu will work on EST (New York Estern Time Zone)
