Role Purpose: Lead procurement strategy and execution for materials, equipment and services required for the project, ensuring cost-competitiveness, quality and schedule alignment.
Strategic Responsibilities:
Develop the phase-wise procurement plan and vendor strategy aligned to the construction schedule.
Negotiate rate contracts and framework agreements for high-value material categories.
Recommend vendor empanelment and de-empanelment based on performance.
Operational Responsibilities:
Issue RFQs/tenders, evaluate bids and process purchase orders within delegated authority limits.
Track material delivery schedules and expedite critical-path items.
Maintain procurement MIS and cost-saving trackers.
