Job Summary The PGT English Teacher is responsible for delivering high-quality instruction to students, fostering strong language proficiency, critical thinking, creativity, and effective communication skills. The teacher will prepare students for board examinations while promoting a love for literature and language through engaging and student-centered teaching practices.

Key Responsibilities
Teach English Language and Literature to Grades XI and XII as per the prescribed curriculum CBSE
Prepare annual plans, lesson plans, and instructional materials.
Conduct interactive and engaging classroom sessions using up-to-date teaching methodologies and digital tools.
Develop students' reading, writing, speaking, listening, grammar, and comprehension skills.
Assess students through assignments, projects, presentations, unit tests, and examinations.
Prepare students for board examinations with regular practice, revision, and doubt-clearing sessions.
Evaluate answer scripts and provide constructive feedback for continuous improvement.
Encourage participation in debates, elocution, creative writing, drama, and literary activities.
Maintain student records, attendance, and academic progress reports.




Participate in Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs), faculty meetings, and school events.
Ensure classroom discipline and create a positive, inclusive learning setting.
Stay updated with curriculum changes and innovative teaching practices.

Qualifications
Master's Degree in English or an equivalent qualification.
B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) is mandatory.
Minimum 01 years of teaching experience at the Senior Secondary level (preferred).
Strong knowledge of English Language, Literature, Grammar, and Board Examination patterns.
