Role Overview

Transparent Overseas is looking for an experienced Production Manager with a strong background in the Glass Manufacturing Industry. The ideal candidate should be capable of managing end-to-end production operations, leading shop floor teams, improving productivity, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring timely order execution.

Key Responsibilities
Plan, organize, and supervise daily production activities.
Manage the complete production process from raw material to finished goods.
Ensure production targets are achieved within quality and delivery timelines.
Coordinate with Merchandising, PPC, Quality, Stores, and Dispatch teams.
Optimize manpower, machines, and resources to improve productivity.
Monitor production efficiency and implement process improvements.
Ensure compliance with SOPs, safety standards, and quality guidelines.
Resolve production issues and minimize downtime.
Monitor wastage, rejection, and production costs to improve efficiency.




Train and guide production supervisors and shop floor teams.
Prepare daily production reports and review KPIs with management.
Ensure smooth execution of export orders and adherence to shipment schedules.

Requirements
Graduate/Diploma/B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 5+ years of experience in the Glass Manufacturing Industry, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
Robust knowledge of glass production processes, finishing, quality standards, and factory operations.
Experience in production planning, manpower management, and process optimization.
Positive leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Proficiency in MS Excel and production reporting.
Experience working in an export-oriented manufacturing unit will be an added advantage.
