Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Pharmacist role based in Chennai. The Pharmacist will dispense prescription and over-the-counter medications accurately, following all legal and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities include reviewing prescriptions, checking for drug interactions, maintaining proper storage and inventory of medicines, and ensuring correct labelling and documentation. The role involves counseling customers on medication usage, dosage, side effects, and general health queries, while maintaining a high level of customer service and professionalism.



The Pharmacist will also support daily store operations, such as stock checks, order placement, temperature monitoring, and adherence to quality assurance protocols.

Qualifications
Relevant pharmacy qualification (B.Pharm / D.Pharm) from a recognized institution and valid pharmacist registration as per local regulations.
Knowledge of pharmacology, drug interactions, dosage calculations, and prescription interpretation, with strong attention to accuracy and safety.
Ability to provide explicit medication counseling, with strong communication and customer service skills in a fast-paced retail healthcare setting.
Experience with pharmacy inventory management, billing systems, and basic computer literacy for handling digital records.
Understanding of regulatory and ethical standards in pharmacy practice, including adherence to quality, hygiene, and confidentiality requirements.
Ability to work flexible schedule, collaborate effectively with the pharmacy team, and maintain professionalism under pressure.
Prior experience in a retail pharmacy or hospital pharmacy setting is an advantage.
