Company Description

We are seeking a results-driven and detail-oriented Purchase Executive to manage our procurement operations. You will be responsible for sourcing high-quality raw materials, negotiating with vendors, and maintaining optimal inventory levels to support uninterrupted production of submersible pumps.

Role Description
Material Sourcing: Procure critical pump components including copper winding wires, stainless steel (SS) sheets, stampings, rotors,Casting, bearings, cables, and control panel electronics.
Vendor Management: Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable local and national suppliers. Maintain robust relationships and evaluate vendor performance on quality and delivery time.
Price Negotiation: Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules to achieve cost savings without compromising quality.
Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels using ERP systems to prevent stockouts of critical production components or excess dead stock.
Documentation & Compliance: Generate Purchase Orders (POs),



verify vendor invoices, and maintain neat records of all procurement transactions, material test certificates, and GST bills.
Coordination: Coordinate with the Quality Control (QC) team to handle material rejection or replacement and work closely with accounts for timely vendor payments.

Qualifications
Education: Diploma/B.E. in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
Experience: 1 to 4 years of procurement experience, preferably in a pump manufacturing industry.
Software Skills: Hands-on proficiency in Tally ERP 9 / Tally Prime or specialized Manufacturing ERP systems. Excellent command of MS Excel.
Skills: Robust negotiation skills, knowledge of raw material grades (e.g., SS 304, SS 410), and familiarity with local industrial markets like Metoda GIDC and Samrat.
Languages: Fluency in Gujarati and Hindi; functional knowledge of English for email correspondence.
