Role Description The Regional Collections Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai, responsible for overseeing collection operations within an assigned region. This role includes managing and guiding collection teams, setting and monitoring recovery targets, and ensuring adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.

The manager will analyze portfolio performance, implement collection strategies, and coordinate with legal and advisory teams for complex cases.



Daily responsibilities also involve engaging with key clients on collection progress, resolving escalated issues, preparing reports and forecasts, and driving continuous process improvement to maximize recovery rates.

Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in debt collection operations, portfolio management, and recovery strategy implementation.
Candidates should possess skills in team leadership, performance management, and mentoring collection staff.
Candidates should possess skills in client relationship management, negotiation, and conflict resolution.
Candidates should possess skills in financial analysis, reporting, and use of collection and CRM tools.
Candidates should possess skills in understanding regulatory and legal frameworks related to collections and compliance.
Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, accounting, law, or a related field; advanced qualifications are an advantage.
Several years of experience in collections, credit control, or related financial services roles, preferably in a managerial position.
Ability to work in office in Mumbai, handle regional travel as needed, and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
