: Safety Engineer

Position: Safety Engineer

Qualification Required: Diploma or Bachelors degree in Engineering, Safety Management, Industrial Safety, or a related field.

Certification Required: Candidate must hold a valid safety certificate such as Industrial Safety, Fire & Safety or any other recognized safety certification.

Role Summary

We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Safety Engineer to ensure a protected working environment by identifying workplace hazards, implementing safety procedures, conducting inspections, and ensuring compliance with applicable health, safety, and environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities
Conduct regular safety inspections, risk assessments, and workplace audits.
Identify potential hazards and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
Ensure compliance with company safety policies, statutory requirements, and industry safety standards.
Prepare and maintain safety reports, inspection records, incident reports, and compliance documentation.
Investigate accidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions and suggest measures to prevent recurrence.
Conduct safety training, toolbox talks,



and awareness sessions for employees and contractors.
Monitor usage of personal protective equipment and ensure safe work practices at site.
Coordinate with project, maintenance, operations, and contractor teams for safety implementation.
Support emergency preparedness, fire safety checks, evacuation drills, and incident response planning.

Required Skills and Competencies
Good knowledge of workplace safety rules, hazard identification, and risk control methods.
Understanding of fire safety, emergency procedures, PPE, permit-to-work systems, and site safety practices.
Ability to prepare safety documentation and communicate effectively with teams.
Solid observation, reporting, problem-solving, and coordination skills.
Ability to work at project sites, factories, plants, or field locations as required.

Experience Freshers with valid safety certification may apply. Candidates with prior experience in industrial safety, construction safety, manufacturing, engineering, or project site safety will be preferred.
