Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute procurement strategies to ensure timely and cost-effective purchasing.
Manage procurement of raw materials, engineering items, consumables, packaging materials, and services.
Identify, evaluate, and develop vendors while maintaining robust supplier relationships.
Negotiate pricing, contracts, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
Coordinate with Production, Stores, Quality, Finance, and Logistics for procurement planning.
Monitor inventory levels to ensure uninterrupted operations.
Prepare RFQs, comparative statements, purchase orders, and procurement MIS reports.
Ensure compliance with procurement policies and statutory requirements.
Drive cost optimization, vendor performance, and continuous process improvement.

Qualifications &
Experience




Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Commerce, or a related field (MBA preferred).
10–15 years of experience in procurement within Manufacturing, Corn Starch, Food Processing, Chemical, or FMCG industries.
Experience in vendor management, commercial negotiations, and ERP systems.
