Role & responsibilities
Ensure compliance with company HSE policies, statutory regulations, and client safety requirements at the worksite.
Conduct regular site safety inspections to identify unsafe acts, unsafe conditions, and potential hazards, and implement corrective actions.
Carry out Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment (HIRA), Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and recommend appropriate control measures.
Conduct safety induction programs, refresher training, and daily Toolbox Talks (TBT) for employees, contractors, and visitors.
Monitor the implementation of the Permit to Work (PTW) system for hot work, confined space entry, work at height, lifting operations, and electrical work.
Ensure proper selection, use, and maintenance of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) by all personnel.
Monitor high-risk activities such as lifting, scaffolding, excavation,



confined space, hot work, and work at height to ensure secure execution.
Inspect firefighting equipment, emergency response systems, first-aid facilities, and emergency exit routes to ensure operational readiness.
Conduct routine inspections of tools, machinery, lifting equipment, electrical equipment, and work areas to ensure protected working conditions.
Investigate accidents, incidents, near misses, and unsafe occurrences, prepare investigation reports, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly HSE reports, safety observations, inspection reports, and compliance records.
