Must-Have Skills
Strong Backend Development experience.
Expertise in at least one of:
Java
Python
C
Scala
Strong SQL/Database skills (highest priority)
Complex queries
Joins
Data analysis
Relational DBs (NoSQL knowledge is a plus)
Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to understand and enhance existing code.
Adaptable to work across multiple technologies rather than sticking to one language.

Basic Frontend exposure (only 5% of work).
Experience with Apache ecosystem.
Credit Reporting / Financial Services domain experience is preferred.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Work on an existing production application (not greenfield).
Analyze existing codebase.
Develop enhancements and recent features.
Resolve production-related issues.
Work extensively with databases.
Occasionally contribute to new initiatives, but primary focus is enhancement of mature applications.
