Role Description This full time, on-site Reporter role is based in Ludhiana East and focuses on covering cybersecurity-related news, trends, and company developments. The Reporter will research and pitch story ideas, gather information from internal experts and external sources, and produce clear, accurate, and engaging news articles and reports.

Daily tasks include conducting interviews, fact-checking, and writing pieces suited for multiple channels such as web, internal communications, and partner-focused publications. The role also involves collaborating with editors, communications teams, and multimedia specialists to create content that supports WatchGuard’s brand, thought leadership, and partner enablement efforts.

Qualifications
Candidates should possess robust Reporting skills, including sourcing information, verifying facts, and developing balanced stories.
Candidates should possess excellent Writing and News Writing abilities to produce explicit, concise,



and audience-appropriate content.
Candidates should possess robust Communication skills for interviewing, collaborating with stakeholders, and presenting complex topics in accessible language.
Candidates should possess basic to intermediate Multimedia skills, such as working with photos, audio, or video to enhance digital stories.
Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Media Studies, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Ability to work on-site in Ludhiana East, manage multiple deadlines, and maintain high editorial standards.
Familiarity with cybersecurity, technology reporting, or B2B/enterprise topics is highly beneficial.
Strong ethical judgment, attention to detail, and proficiency with standard newsroom and content management tools.
