Roles & Responsibilities / Duties to be Performed:
Tendering & Estimation of Process Equipment like Heat Exchangers, Pressure Vessels, Columns, Reactors, Tanks etc. across sectors involving Refineries, Petrochemical, Oil & Gas, Fertilizer, Power, Steel, Chemical, etc.
Review of enquiry documents such as technical specifications, process datasheets, drawings, ITP, General Conditions of Contract and Special Conditions of Contract.
Interaction with internal departments for engineering inputs, right material cost, delivery, welding & machinery requirements, NDT & Inspection, Logistics, Financial & commercial requirements for basis of estimation & proposal.

4.Working out the BOM, obtaining rates from suppliers for materials & services and working out the cost estimate, obtain approval for submission of offer
Submission of offer to customer as per tender requirements & approvals with necessary supporting documents, follow-up with customer, resolving technical & commercial queries before & after submission of the bids.

6.Technical Offer Preparation including deviations/clarifications/significant notes, scope of supply and work, delivery conditions, equipment specification and exclusions.




Commercial Offer Preparation including price break down, optional prices along with payment terms, delivery schedule, warranty/guarantee requirements and offer validity.
Monitoring progress of proposal with respect to deadlines & follow-up with customer for offers status, negotiations for converting into orders.
Cost monitoring (actual against estimated) and Close out reports.
Conduct estimating reviews and decide on risk mitigation plans & monitor the implementation in coordination with Engineering, Procurement, Planning, Production, Quality, etc.
Conducting KOM internal and with client for orders received and communicate order & pre-order documents to concerned departments for proper execution of the order
Coordinating with various departments for technical clearance during execution of job.
Generating enquiries for process equipment & other products of the unit
Collect data of orders finalized, prepare comparison of prices of various competitors Maintaining & updating the process equipment reference
