Guardell is seeking a skilled Design Engineer with experience in fire-rated door systems to support design, detailing, and product development activities.
Key Responsibilities Prepare detailed shop and fabrication drawings for fire-rated doors.
Ensure all designs comply with relevant fire-rated standards and project specifications.
Develop and maintain door and hardware schedules.
Support the development of current sheet metal products.
Additional
Knowledge (Preferred)
Familiarity with drawing automation tools and techniques. Key Skills
Solid technical drawing and detailing capabilities.
Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
Qualifications & Experience
3 years Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in fire-rated door design (middle east)
Knowledge of ballistic, blast, and STC-rated door design will be an added advantage.
