Role & responsibilities
Execute preventive, predictive, and scheduled maintenance activities in coordination with the Section Head (SH) to ensure equipment reliability and availability.
Conduct daily SOA rounds, update observations in the Kavach Portal, and drive Electrical Safety and LOTOTO (Lockout-Tagout-Tryout) standards.
Maintain all required maintenance records, registers, and documentation in compliance with statutory and legal requirements.
Possess working knowledge of protection relays, energy meters, Smart MCC SIMOCODE /LTMRs, and field instrumentation systems.
Carry out motor overhauling activities and maintenance of HT motors, oil-type and dry-type transformers, passenger lifts, and rack-and-pinion lifts, including condition monitoring practices.
Prepare and analyse power consumption reports and perform Statistical Process Control (SPC) analysis to support operational efficiency.
Provide support for PAT (Perform, Achieve and Trade) and CCTS-related initiatives and compliance requirements, Timely PR and follow-up and ensuring Spare availability and Management
Monitor equipment health and provide timely feedback on equipment condition to the Section Head (SH) and HOD to ensure optimum equipment availability. Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly plant inspections and record abnormalities through prescribed checklists for timely corrective actions.
Coordinate and execute identified improvement projects focused on productivity enhancement, maintenance optimization, and cost reduction.
Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Why-Why Analysis for equipment breakdowns and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Ensure effective utilization of manpower through coordination with the Section Head, interdepartmental teams, and condition monitoring teams. Update equipment maintenance history and records regularly in SAP and Smart P applications.
Collaborate with the Process Department to monitor plant performance parameters and implement measures to improve equipment reliability and availability.
