Sr. Sales Engineer

Job Summary

Responsible for sales of Industrial Automation products.

Roles & Responsibilities

Familiar with EPC/MEP contractors and reputed consultants in Tamil Nadu and Kerala.

Identify and qualify potential customers and promote industrial automation products.

Develop and maintain relationships with existing and current customers.

Increase the customer base within the allocated territory.

Visit 4–6 relevant customers per day, depending on territory.

Assess clients' automation engineering requirements.

Provide application, product-selection and cross-reference assistance.

Provide customers with relevant product information.

Coordinate with design and application teams on engineering requirements.

Handle sales of industrial automation products to OEMs, EPCs and end-user customers.

Conduct product demonstrations at customer sites.





Generate and achieve sales targets while maintaining profit margins.

Drive business growth and increase market share.

Prepare daily visit reports and weekly sales review reports.

Achieve monthly and yearly sales goals.

Maintain regular updates in the CRM tool.

Skills & Knowledge

Direct sales experience with OEMs, EPCs and end users is mandatory.

Sales experience with similar German/European Industrial Automation products.

Updated knowledge of industrial automation panels.

Solid communication and relationship-building skills.

Self-motivated and result-oriented.

Ability to multitask and work cross-functionally.

Proven individual sales-target achievement.

Qualification

Degree/Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Power Electronics Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

Minimum 5 years of experience in LV application/project sales.
