Job Responsibilities:
Operate Vertical Machining Centre (VMC) machines as per production requirements.
Perform machine setup, tool setting, and offset corrections.
Read and interpret engineering drawings and machining process sheets.
Load and unload workpieces and monitor machining operations.
Inspect machined components using Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, and other measuring instruments.
Ensure dimensional accuracy and product quality as per specifications.
Perform tool changes and maintain machine cleanliness.
Follow production schedules, 5S, and safety standards.
Report machine issues and coordinate with the Maintenance and Quality teams.
Maintain production and inspection records.
Requirements:
ITI / Diploma in Mechanical or a related field.
1–5 years of experience as a VMC Operator in a manufacturing industry.
Knowledge of engineering drawings, measuring instruments, and VMC machine operations.
Basic understanding of CNC programming and machine offsets is an added advantage.
Willing to work in a 10-hour rotational shift.
Good teamwork, discipline, and problem-solving skills.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
