Role Description The Service Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru South. The role involves performing scheduled maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on forklifts and material handling equipment at customer locations and company facilities.

The Service

Engineer will inspect equipment, diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, replace parts, and ensure work is completed according to safety and quality standards. Daily activities include documenting service work, preparing basic reports, coordinating with the service team for spare parts and tools,



and communicating clearly with customers about findings and recommended actions. The role may also support equipment installation, commissioning, and occasional emergency breakdown calls, requiring timely response and a robust focus on customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

Technical skills in mechanical and electrical maintenance of industrial equipment, preferably forklifts or material handling systems.

Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, service documentation, and basic engineering drawings.

Strong problem-solving skills for fault diagnosis, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.

Effective communication and customer service skills to interact with clients and internal teams.

Understanding of workplace safety practices, equipment handling protocols, and basic regulatory compliance.

Relevant diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering (or equivalent technical qualification).

Hands-on experience in field service, equipment maintenance, or workshop operations is preferred.

Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru South, travel to customer locations as needed, and manage time independently.
