Role & responsibilities:
Access Control: Manages entry and exit points, ensuring only authorized personnel enter restricted areas like pharmacies, nurseries, and OTs.
Patrol Management: Coordinates regular security rounds throughout the facility, including parking lots, emergency bays, and stairwells.
Incident Response: Leads the response to "Code Blue" (medical emergency) or "Code Red" (fire) and manages aggressive or disruptive individuals.
Surveillance Oversight: Monitors CCTV feeds and ensures all alarm systems (fire, smoke, and panic buttons) are functional.
Staff Training: Educates hospital employees on workplace violence prevention, emergency evacuation, and personal safety.
VIP & Forensic Security: Coordinates protection for high-profile patients or individuals under police custody.
Asset Protection: Prevents theft of hospital property, pharmaceutical supplies, and patient belongings.
Traffic & Parking Coordination: Ensures ambulance bays remain explicit and manages visitor parking flow to prevent congestion.
