Senior Accounts Job Role & ResponsibilitiesMaintain and oversee the company's books of accounts. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Verify and approve accounting entries, journal vouchers, and ledgers.
Manage Accounts
Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR). Reconcile bank accounts, vendor accounts, and customer accounts. Monitor cash flow and prepare cash flow reports. Ensure timely GST, TDS, PF, ESI, Skilled Tax, and Income Tax compliance (as applicable).
Prepare and file statutory returns within deadlines. Coordinate with auditors during internal and statutory audits. Prepare budgets, financial forecasts, and variance analysis. Monitor expenses and identify cost-saving prospects.
Review employee reimbursements and payroll-related accounting entries. Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules. Ensure compliance with company financial policies and accounting standards.
Generate MIS reports and present financial data to management. Support branch accounts and resolve accounting-related issues. Guide and supervise junior accounts staff. Maintain confidentiality of financial records and company information
