Maintain accurate books of accounts and ensure all financial transactions are recorded on time.
Prepare and verify journal entries, ledgers, and trial balances.
Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
Reconcile bank statements, vendor accounts, customer accounts, and general ledger accounts.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and MIS reports.
Ensure timely processing of invoices, payments, receipts, and expense reimbursements.
Manage GST compliance, including preparation and filing of GST returns and reconciliation.
Handle TDS calculations, deductions, return filing, and issuance of certificates.
Assist in statutory audits, internal audits, and tax audits by providing required documentation.
Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, banks, and government authorities.
Prepare schedules and documentation for financial statements.
Monitor cash flow and assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and statutory regulations.
Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules.
Review vendor contracts and payment terms to ensure financial accuracy.
Support payroll accounting and statutory deductions where applicable.
Identify process improvements to enhance accounting efficiency and internal controls.
Supervise and guide junior accounts executives or accounting assistants.
Maintain confidentiality of financial information and company records.
Perform any other accounting and finance-related duties assigned by mangagement.
