We are looking for a meticulous and experienced Senior Audit Assistant with an accounts background to join our audit team. The primary role involves checking clients' books of accounts, rectification and preparing accurate financial statements. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of the accounting principles and a keen eye for detail. Knowledge and practical experience in GST filing, TDS filing etc. will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
· Review clients' books of accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
· Identify and rectify any discrepancies or errors in financial records.
· Prepare and verify books of accounts, trial balance, profit & loss and balance sheet.
· Proper verification and filing of monthly GST returns and quarterly TDS returns for clients.
· Get necessary financial information from clients and provide recommendations.
· Assist in the preparation of audit reports and other statutory financial documents.
Qualifications:
· Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
· Min. 2 years’ experience in Auditing, Accounting, Book keeping, GST or related role.
· Knowledge of accounting principles and audit practices.
· Proficiency in accounting software like Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho etc.
· Positive communication and interpersonal skills.
