: Senior Accountant Job Title: Senior Accountant Department: Finance & Accounts Reports To: Finance Manager / Accounting Manager / CFO Job SummaryThe Senior Accountant is responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations, and supporting budgeting, audits, and financial analysis. The role requires solid analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to lead accounting processes. Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

Manage the general ledger and ensure accurate recording of financial transactions. Reconcile bank accounts, balance sheet accounts, and intercompany transactions. Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll accounting.

Prepare and file tax returns,



GST/VAT, TDS, and other statutory compliance reports as applicable. Coordinate internal and external audits and provide required documentation. Assist in budget preparation, forecasting, and variance analysis.

Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements. Monitor cash flow and support treasury activities. Develop and improve accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.

Mentor junior accounting staff and review their work. Support ERP implementation and financial system improvements. Prepare financial reports and management presentations for senior leadership.
