We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive SEZ Executive to manage and support Special Economic Zone (SEZ) compliance and operational activities for our clients. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in SEZ regulations, documentation, customs procedures, and liaison with SEZ authorities.
Key Responsibilities
Handle day-to-day SEZ operational and statutory compliances.
Prepare and file SEZ applications, forms, and statutory returns with the Development Commissioner (DC) and SEZ authorities.
Manage procurement-related compliances, including domestic procurement and import documentation.
Coordinate with Customs, SEZ Authorities, and other regulatory bodies for approvals and clearances.
Prepare and maintain records for:
Bill of Entry (BOE)
Shipping Bills
SOFTEX Forms
Re-warehousing Certificates
Procurement Registers
Bond Register
Asset Register
Ensure compliance with Letter of Approval (LoA) conditions and monitor validity, amendments, and renewals.
Handle Annual Performance Report (APR) preparation and submission.
Support clients in SEZ unit setup, expansion, denotification, de-bonding, exit procedures, and closure-related compliances.
Liaise with Customs authorities for asset verification, destruction, disposal, and de-bonding approvals.
Coordinate with clients for documentation and ensure timely completion of compliance requirements.
Monitor statutory due dates and maintain compliance trackers.
Assist in SEZ audits, departmental inspections, and regulatory assessments.
Stay updated with changes in SEZ Rules, Customs regulations, Foreign Trade Policy (FTP), and related notifications.
Work closely with internal tax and compliance teams to deliver end-to-end regulatory support.
Experience
13 years of experience in SEZ, Customs, EXIM, or Foreign Trade compliances.
Experience in a consulting firm, SEZ Developer, Export House, or manufacturing/export organization will be preferred.
