We are looking for a Senior Accountant who manages complex financial records, ensures regulatory compliance, and oversees junior staff. Core duties include preparing financial statements, conducting general ledger reconciliations, and supporting audits.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
General Ledger &
Reconciliations:
Maintain the general ledger, execute month-end close procedures, and reconcile balance sheet accounts.
Compliance &
Audits:
Ensure adherence to GAAP or IFRS standards and compile documentation for internal and external audits.
Budgeting &
Analysis:
Analyze budget-to-actual variances and assist in financial forecasting.
Team Leadership: Mentor, guide,
and review the work of staff and junior accountants.
Qualifications &
Skills:
Education: Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
Experience: 5- 10 years of progressive accounting or public accounting experience.
Certifications: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) strongly preferred.
Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and enterprise accounting software (TALLY should be known), preferred knowledge preferably of Metal Scrap Industries .
