Role & responsibilities

Execution & quality
Execute civil and finishing works strictly as per approved drawings, GFC, and client specifications.
Read and interpret structural, architectural, and finishing drawings; flag discrepancies before work starts.
Maintain quality and workmanship standards; ensure work passes client/PMC inspection the first time.
Plan daily and weekly targets, track progress against schedule, and pull back slippages.

Material management
Forecast material requirements from BBS/BOQ and drawings; raise timely indents.
Coordinate procurement, verify quantities and quality on delivery, control wastage, and maintain site stock records.
Reconcile material consumption against work done.

Labour & subcontractor management
Manage in-house labour and subcontractor gangs deployment, productivity, and discipline.
Verify labour attendance, measure subcontractor work, and certify running bills accurately.
Resolve labour issues at site level and keep manpower matched to the work front.

Client & consultant coordination
Be the day-to-day face of MKM to the client,



their engineer, PMC, and architect.
Handle site instructions, RFIs, snag lists, and inspection sign-offs professionally.
Protect MKM's commercial interest record extra work, delays, and client-side hold-ups in writing.
Prepare and submit measurement sheets, progress reports, and photographs as required.

Documentation & compliance
Maintain site records: DPRs, measurement books, material registers, and inspection logs.
Ensure basic safety and housekeeping standards at site.

Preferred candidate profile
Diploma / B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
[X]+ years running residential/commercial building sites, ideally in finishing-heavy projects.
Solid drawing reading, quantity estimation, and billing/measurement skills.
Working knowledge of MS Excel and AutoCAD (viewing/mark-up).
Confident dealing directly with client engineers and consultants; able to hold MKM's position without souring the relationship.
