About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Shop Floor Supervisor to oversee daily production activities, ensure smooth shop floor operations, maintain quality standards, and achieve production targets. The ideal candidate should have solid leadership skills and experience in manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities
Supervise day-to-day shop floor operations and manpower.
Ensure production targets are achieved within planned timelines.
Monitor machine utilization, productivity, and workflow efficiency.
Maintain product quality as per company standards.
Implement and monitor 5S, Lean Manufacturing, and Kaizen practices.
Coordinate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Stores departments.
Ensure adherence to safety regulations and workplace discipline.
Minimize downtime, material wastage, and production losses.
Prepare daily production reports and shift-wise MIS.
Train and guide operators to improve productivity and quality.

Required Skills
Shop floor and production supervision.




Team handling and manpower management.
Production planning and process monitoring.
Quality control and problem-solving.
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and Kaizen.
Valuable communication and reporting skills.

Qualifications
Diploma/B.E. in Mechanical, Production, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
4–8 years of experience in a manufacturing workplace, preferably in luggage, plastics, consumer goods, or similar industries.
Experience in handling shop floor teams and achieving production targets.

Preferred Experience
Experience in luggage, plastic moulding, consumer products, or assembly manufacturing.
Knowledge of production planning, quality systems, and continuous improvement tools.
Familiarity with ERP/MIS systems is an added advantage.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
