Legal Lead for TASL’s Airborne Systems business comprising of UAV, Satellite and Aircraft Platforms assembly & MRO businesses. Incumbent will lead a team of lawyers and be responsible for providing legal advice and support for the captioned businesses and assist the GC in planning and execution of organization wide initiatives in Legal domain.

Key responsibilities
Supporting business to respond to and pursue government tenders •
Structuring, negotiation and closure of domestic and international contracts and legal arrangements with customers, suppliers and business / consortium partners for large greenfield and brownfield projects within and outside India. •
Negotiating and closure of contracts for routine and non-routine business transactions including for manpower hiring, IT procurement, bailment, factory construction,



land / property acquisition and appointment of channel partners / distributors within & outside India •
Advising on disputes and litigation management • Ensuring due regulatory compliance reporting, support & advice for obtaining regulatory approvals and leading internal regulatory compliance audit exercises for AP&S; units •
Conducting trainings on POSH/FCPA/ITAR/EAR/UK Anti Bribery laws •
Framing and roll-out of SOPs relating to Legal function and support on framing of company policies •
Supporting industry advocacy initiatives from time-to-time •
Managing external lawyers and AP&S; legal team
