Co-ordinate with the process and other maintenance teams to ensure the instruments and control system healthiness connected to Integrated Pulp & Paper Industry.
Act as an instrumentation shift Engineer to handle all the areas of an Integrated Pulp & Paper Industry.
To lead the trouble shooting of instrumentation problems for finding the root cause in co-ordination with Operations and other maintenance teams.
Monitoring the performance of DCS, PLC, MCS & QCS systems & Reporting to the concerned Area Engineer.
Ensure the Safety & Environmental standards related to Instrumentation activities.
Functional Responsibilities:
To take the lead of Safety of instrumentation crew in assigned Area.
To take the lead of Instrumentation shift maintenance activities by co-ordinating with the concerned Area Instrumentation G-Shift Engineers.
Preventive Maintenance Planning & Scheduling along with G-shift Teams.
Budget & Inventory control as per the guide line of seniors.
Co-ordination with Process, Instrumentation Engineers & other Engineers for execution of Instrumentation jobs.
Day-to-Day Instrumentation Preventive Maintenance Jobs execution and updating in the SAP System.
Ensure the Statutory checks in the area related to Instrumentation.
To train the sub-ordinates for the Instrumentation activities.
Required Knowledge and Experience:
First Class Graduate (B-Tech or BE) in Instrumentation discipline with Minimum 3 Years of Experience.
Experience in process control industries preferably Pulp and Paper industries.
Knowledge in Instruments and process controls used in process control industries.
Knowledge of field instruments and their trouble shooting and calibration.
Knowledge and hands on experience of DCS, QCS and PLC Systems, ABB, Honeywell, Siemens, Allen Bradly, GE Fanuc PLC e.t.c
Knowledge on Integrated Pulp & Paper Related Instrumentation.
Experience on Instrumentation Preventive and Breakdown Maintenance activities.
Experience on various type & brands of Field Transmitters, Analyzers and Final Control Elements.
Knowledge and Experience on Pneumatic and Hydraulic Control systems
