Role & responsibilities
Perform laboratory-scale organic synthesis of APIs, intermediates, impurities, and reference standards.
Execute reaction setup, monitoring, work-up, purification, and isolation of compounds.
Conduct analytical testing using HPLC, GC, LC-MS, FTIR, UV-Vis, NMR, Karl Fischer, and other analytical instruments as required.
Interpret analytical data and maintain laboratory notebooks and technical reports.
Assist in process optimization, scale-up studies, and technology transfer activities.
Prepare and maintain SOPs, batch records, protocols, and reports.
Ensure compliance with GLP, GMP, and laboratory safety guidelines.
Maintain laboratory instruments and ensure timely calibration and preventive maintenance.
Coordinate with Analytical R&D;, QA, Production, and Regulatory teams.
Support investigation of laboratory deviations,



OOS/OOT results, and CAPA implementation.
Maintain inventory of laboratory chemicals, reagents, solvents, and consumables.
Participate in internal audits and regulatory inspections.

Preferred candidate profile
Organic synthesis techniques and reaction handling.
Purification techniques (Column Chromatography, Crystallization, Distillation).
Analytical instruments: HPLC, GC, LC-MS, FTIR, UV, NMR (basic understanding).
Knowledge of GLP, GMP, ICH guidelines, and laboratory documentation.
Literature search and interpretation of scientific publications.
Basic knowledge of process development and impurity profiling.
