Role Description The Site Supervisor is a full time, on-site role based in the Diffrent site, responsible for overseeing crane operations and lifting activities at project locations. This role includes coordinating daily work schedules, supervising crane operators and ground staff, and ensuring that lifting plans are executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project requirements.

The Site

Supervisor monitors equipment usage, conducts in office inspections, and communicates with project managers, clients, and the operations team to resolve issues and maintain smooth workflow. Additional responsibilities include enforcing safety protocols, maintaining basic site documentation (such as checklists, permits, and activity logs), and supporting timely mobilization and demobilization of cranes and related equipment. The role requires a hands-on presence at sites, proactive problem-solving, and the ability to respond quickly to changing project conditions.

Qualifications




Experience in site supervision or field operations within construction, infrastructure, industrial, or heavy lifting environments.
Knowledge of crane operations, lifting plans, rigging practices, and basic mechanical awareness of heavy equipment.
Strong understanding of workplace safety standards, risk assessment, and compliance with relevant regulations.
Effective communication and coordination skills to work with operators, clients, contractors, and internal teams.
Ability to read and interpret basic technical documents, work orders, and site layouts.
Proven skills in organizing daily activities, prioritizing tasks, and managing time in a dynamic site workplace.
Comfort with maintaining simple records and reports related to site activities, safety checks, and equipment use.
Minimum of a diploma or certification in civil, mechanical, or related field; a bachelor’s degree is an advantage.
