OpenText is seeking a Software Developer to work on the architecture, design, and implementation of the enterprise server protection product, which is of a large scale, highly distributed server protection product. This product covers backup of on-premises and cloud-based workloads. The ideal candidate needs to be forward-looking and pragmatic at solving problems and must have excellent communication skills.

Should be able to independently develop complex software

What it takes:
Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
Experience with C/C++
Exposure to Angular, scripting languages, socket programming and inter-process communication (IPC).
Valuable communication skills.
Desire to work in an exciting and challenging atmosphere.
Exposure to UNIX platforms; Linux and SOLARIS or HP-UX or AIX, etc.
Knowledge of data protection (Enterprise backup and restore) business space
Experience or exposure to Virtualization technologies (VMware, Hypervisor, etc.)
Knowledge of database technologies
