Trainee Engineer The role holder will support the reliable operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of utility systems to ensure uninterrupted research and development activities at the R&D;
Centre. The incumbent will assist in utility operations, preventive and breakdown maintenance, project execution, documentation, and EHS compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Engineering Knowledge
Monitor and support operations and maintenance of utilities systems such as:
HVAC systems, ventilation systems, Scrubber, Fume-hood & Vacuum pump.
Boilers and steam distribution systems.
Air compressors and compressed air networks.
Cooling towers and chilled water systems.
RO plants & DM water systems.
Pumps, piping, ducting and associated equipment
Participate in preparing technical reports, equipment specifications, and drawings.
Projects and Maintenance Management
• Close Supervision during maintenance / Project work.
Support execution of projects and modifications related to mechanical engineering.
Participate in installation, commissioning, and performance testing of equipment.
Assist in preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance activities of Equipment.
• Coordinate and monitor AMC activities for laboratory and utility equipment.
Safety, Health & Setting (EHS) and Compliance
• Ensure compliance with EHS procedures and permit-to-work systems.
System Knowledge and Documentation
• Maintain and review utility logs, checklists and maintenance records.
Assist in preparing reports related to utility performance, equipment history, PM and breakdown records of Equipments.
