Storekeeper Stores Discipline & Material Traceability Duties/: Materials Receipt & Inspection/: Check for correct part numbers, physical quantities, and obvious material damage by comparing incoming deliveries to purchase orders /(POs/) and delivery notes.

Binning & Location Management/: Assign and arrange materials into storage pallets, bins, or rack positions, making sure that each item is clearly labeled with part codes and descriptions.
Production Line Material Issuance/: Make sure there is no undocumented stock movement by only supplying raw materials and sub/-components to the manufacturing floor in accordance with approved material requisitions or job cards.
Physical Inventory Reconciliation/: Conduct monthly physical audits and periodic "Cycle Counts" of the stores, looking into and resolving any differences between system balances and physical counts. Min/-Max Level Monitoring/: Keep an eye on stock levels for consumables that move quickly. When "Re/-Order Levels" are reached,
formal purchase requisitions are sent to the procurement cell.
Focus Skills/: ERP & Inventory Software Literacy/: The ability to log receipts and issues using enterprise software, such as SAP /(MM Module/), Oracle, or specialized Inventory Management Systems. Technical reading and material identification skills include the ability to recognize engineering components /(bolts, bearings, valves, and electronic elements/) and accurately match them to complicated alphanumeric part numbers.
Proficiency in Protected Materials Handling/: Understanding protected lifting methods and being able to use straightforward handling tools like pallet jacks, manual stackers, or trolleys securely.
